Program

Our Purpose is to provide program services to help strengthen the adolescent's recovery program and development in a structured, supportive and chemical-free environment. The primary components delivered at On-Belay House (through the phase program) are person growth, education and insight into healthy life management, opportunities to implement and practice recovery skills in a structured environment, support, accountability, independent living skills and social/recreational skills. Within each phase, the needs of both the adolescent and families are addressed through the development of a comprehensive assessment and individualized treatment plans.

Family Support: We believe the adolescents are most successful in their recovery when there is encouragement and support from their families. On-Belay's staff requires family participation through bi-weekly family groups as well as the opportunities to meet individually with the family on a weekly basis. Family groups are designed as an education/lecture format with open discussions to encourage continued knowledge to all family members on chemical related issues and how it has or could impact their family systems. Individual family sessions provide a chance for families to address more specific issues and incorporate into the treatment plans, including continued care planning for when the adolescent returns home.
